Share a part of the life of our consultants by discovering their hobbies! This month, let's talk about Alexandre Foucher (d²X Paris) and his passion for music and singing.

What is your double life?

I am a guitarist and singer in my spare time!

When and how did you start?

First of all, because I wanted to play an instrument, I took 3 years of guitar lessons during high school, which then led me to form a band with some friends at the time. That's when I started to want to play other instruments, and also to want to sing. I then continued to play for passion, and tried to improve my singing as I met new people and had new musical experiences.

What do you like about this passion?

I especially like the fact that it's a nice way to get away from everything. I try to cover songs that resonate with me, and to cover them in my own way so that they reflect who I am. Then sharing with other musicians, but also and especially with my family and friends, is a must.

To me, music represents moments of peace and joy, mixed with feelings of happiness.

And in your daily life, how does music fit in?

On a daily basis, I listen to a lot of music, and when I like a piece of music, I try to adapt it to my taste.

Have you acquired skills that you use in your professional life?

Music, and mostly singing, helped me a lot to overcome my shyness throughout my schooling and especially during my professional experiences. Today, it also allows me to get some perspective on difficult tasks that I may encounter. As in music, a different approach makes it possible to better understand blocking points.
