Maxime Toupet, Product Owner (d²X Nantes) answered our questions about his experience at d²X:
Why did you join d²X?
After ten years of working for (too) large consulting companies, I was looking for a project on a human scale while continuing to work for "major" clients. I was convinced by the human project behind the logo and reassured by the many listings and agreements in which d²X is a leading partner. So I went for it ... and I am delighted today!
In your opinion, what is d²X's strength today?
I find the service offering and positioning of d²X simple and clear. I consider it a major asset, both for our customers and for the consultants. We are identified and recognized as specialists in the management of the transformation of IT departments, which guarantees our customers high-level interventions, which are conducted by experienced consultants. And for us consultants, the broad scope of our expertise and our culture of sharing allow us to continue to learn on a daily basis, which for me is a key driver of personal development.
What are the specifics of your job?
As a Product Owner and Agile Coach, my daily work is centered on interaction. Users, businesses, planners, architects, developers, operators (...), I must be able to speak each of their languages, understand every one of their issues and bring them to life. I may have been in this business for more than 5 years, but every assignment is unique. When I'm in contact with people, I pass on and learn... and that's exciting!
What kind of mission do you have at the moment?
I am currently involved in the redesign of the automated mail and parcel sorting intelligence for a major logistics company. Everything is taking place in a SAFe context, multi-business, multi-sites, with implementation teams in several countries. So many challenges that allow me to support our client in maximizing value and managing dependencies. And I do it very well!
What was your most emblematic mission at d²X?
On behalf of an insurance broker, I managed the transformation of a development team into a real agile, efficient and united team! Beyond the results obtained, my great pride lies in the fact that the team members themselves pursue the daily improvement of their functioning: agile values are embodied!
What makes the difference at d²X?
From what I have been able to experience these last years, d²X is a human and collective project. Everyone, if they wish, can bring their experiences, their personality and make the project grow. This is very exciting and rare enough to be highlighted.
Thank you Maxime for this interview!
